Even without a curb cut, some curbs are short enough to jump or bump over, but some are too high even for that!

Erik, a paraplegic, figured out a way to make use of his environment to get over these abysmally high curbs. In his demo, he shows how he backs his chair up to the curb, in arms reach of a meter. By using his arm strength, he pulls himself up and over the curb. He shows it from both angles, to get the full idea on how he makes it work.
