If you’ve ever wanted to take in the picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the eastern United States, Joseph Visaggi highly recommends making the trip. “It’s really amazing,” he says in his video showing not only the beautiful landscape, but also the accessible trails that wheelchair users, like Joseph, can roll along in order to get up close and personal with nature.

In the first part of the video, Joseph is in Virginia at one of the many overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway, which extends all the way down to North Carolina.

At the 2:00 mark, while at the Skyline Drive overlook, just north of the Parkway, Joseph includes an important piece of information to his audience: “If you’re worried about accessible bathrooms [along the mountain view route], you really don’t need to be.” One less concern so you can focus instead on taking in the spectacular scenery!
