How did you find out about Ablethrive.com and #ThriveWorldwide?
Why did you decide to be a #ThriveWorldWide host?
We have been doing inclusive get together at public spaces for people with disabilities to be seen out in the open for a long time. We go to Starbucks or pubs or cafes and restaurants which have high footfalls so that the sight of people with disabilities enjoying like everyone else becomes an ordinary sight, part of the normal day to day life. The concept of Thrive Worldwide completely aligns with that, hence I thought why not join hands and become a host.
What does it mean to live life to the fullest?
Living life to the fullest means when there are no barriers in your built environment, information access or societal prejudice. Everyone, sans any disability or diversity, has the freedom to participate and enjoy life experiences just like everyone.
Thrive Worldwide Meet Up Details
What do you plan for your #ThriveWorldwide meetup? What do you hope will happen at the meetup?
The meetup would be held in a public space with a huge footfall. And would be inclusive, people with various disabilities and people without disabilities would be welcome to participate and have fun together. When we do this, even people who are around just walking in at the venue for other reasons as well, out of curiosity join in the fun with so many questions.
Who would you like to see at your #ThriveWorldwide meetup and why?
Everyone, people with and without disabilities having fun together at a public place. The whole concept of Inclusion showcased live at one of the most happening places in the capital city. We would also organize an activity or an excursion that is inclusive to spread the message of traveling together.
