Eric Ting, a quadriplegic from Singapore, shares his insights on adjusting to life with paralysis for anyone new to it.

“I can tell you, it’s not the end of life. You have a great future in front of you if you’e willing to try new things,”

He reminds everyone to not stay cooped up at home and to be sure to try new things. Sports are one suggestion because as a former Paralympian, Eric credits sports to having a huge impact on his confidence. “Don’t be hindered by what you see in the mirror,” he says. “Just believe in yourself.”
