Taking up wheelchair sports in Singapore is easier than you think. There are several options for you to go for. There are several teams in Singapore compete in the ASEAN Paragames. There are sports that are aggressive and high-intensity like basketball and rugby. Others are slower paced and high skill like table tennis. “Very importantly, you take part in several sports then you’ll find your niche,” he advises. He has taken part in swimming, weight lifting, tennis and wheelchair racing and it has changed his life.

Sports has the potential to teach things in life like: patience, perseverance, independence, determination and so much more. So take your first step to trying out new things because you never know what you can accomplish in life.
